Unquestionably, the Tsunami that hit the six provinces in the south of Thailand on December 26th, 2004 created a mass impact to every Thais around the country. Divers in Bangkok started to talk and discuss on ways we could contribute and help the society. On December 28th, 2004, 50 professional divers came together and discussed about what we could do to help. The result of the meeting led to the idea of coordinating with the local professional divers in the south of Thailand, to do a survey on the effect of Tsunami to the coral reefs and marine lives of the Andaman Sea. Thus, began the first of many more projects to follow.
