Reef Recovery Project

As from theprevious survey and study on the impact of the tsunami towards coral reefs, it was discovered that there were many sea fans and hard corals such table corals, rock corals that were damaged by the Tsunami These corals were either torn, broken and/or flipped over into the sand. The team agreed that it was an urgent matter that needed immediate action. That is, follow up trips should be immediately done where volunteer divers can fix the sea fans that have fallen down and flipped over the corals so they can stand back on their right position, and any other emergency measures that can be done to help the coral reefs and sea fans recover.
