On Feb. 1st – 6th, 20 Professional Divers returned to
the area to check whether the sea fans that were fixed from the previous
trips are still standing as there were reports that they were beginning to
come loose from the temporary man-made help and had fallen down again.
On February 24th – 28th, forty volunteer divers went on another trip to
permanently fix the sea fans by utilizing marine cement. This was done
by either by taking the cement down underwater or bringing up the sea
fans to the surface, by ensuring that the sea fans are constantly wet,
then bringing the sea fans underwater once the cement have dried up.
